For three days, the grounds of the Cantacuzino estate will provide the lively, elegant and smartly-fitted setting for horsemanship afficionados and lovers of Romania’s aristocracy history, featuring in the program the Concours Complet International (CCI 3 *), as well as related events, such as a hound parade and an exhibition of vintage cars, informs a release to AGERPRES.

”The extraordinary success enjoyed by the 2014 edition of the Karpatia Horse Trials was an encouragement to all those involved to further develop this wonderful project. This year will witness several firsts in the Romanian equestrian events: the CCI 3 * — the qualifiers for the Olympic Games, and foreign competitors who have never before come to Romania with their own horses. They will travel for days to get to Floresti, coming from as far as the UK, India, Belgium or Spain. We are thrilled by this attendance that is probably unique in the history of Romanian equitation, but at the same time, we are aware of the responsibility we have towards these competitors. One cannot afford not to be a good host, when your guests travel such a long way to get to Romania,” said event director Mihnea Virgolici.

”As for the cross-country track I can say without exaggeration that we are on equal standing with any other top event from elsewhere in the world. For this edition we built particularly spectacular elements that will keep the spectators on the edge. We worked hard to prepare this cocktail of sport-entertainment-show-emotions-adrenaline and we are sure that all those in attendance will be delighted with what they’ll find here,” the director added.

Access to the event is free on October 9 and 10, and on October 11 it will be by ticket or subscription that can be purchased at the entrance or online on the www.bilete.ro website and the bilete.ro points of sale. Children aged less than 10 have free access, accompanied by an adult.

Subscriptions and tickets can be purchased until October 8 for 25 lei a subscription and 15 lei a day ticket. Tickets purchased after October 9 cost 20 lei and a subscription is 35 lei. AGERPRES
